Ross became involved in the game thanks to his father who played club cricket. He also plays some football and golf. Ross is another member of the squad who has represented his country at all age levels, having experienced success with his club, Clydesdale, in numerous age group competitions– along with fellow squad members Kasim Farid and Andrew Hislop. At club level he has been a regular member of the senior side for several years. He was an integral member of the national squad, which became European champions at U19 in 2002. Ross’s favourite player is Lance Kluesner (South Africa) - because “I bat like him!”
